Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an application that allows you to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, as well as the amount of water the mop is using.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These features are vital in my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally with features. It's able to both sweep and mop in one session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my testing it did well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition, its mops aren't as adept at removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're looking to save money I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even  automated vacuum cleaner  were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
